Instituto Voar drives the integrated development of communities by connecting society, culture, and the environment.
Instituto Voar is a non-profit civil society organization based on the North Coast of Bahia, Brazil. It operates through actions and projects focused on community development, improving people’s quality of life, promoting locally-based productive chains, and environmental preservation.
Its work is guided by the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda in Brazil — a global call to action to end poverty, protect the environment and climate, and ensure that people everywhere can enjoy peace and prosperity.

Establishment of the SESC Craft Training Center base at Casa de Arte.
Organization of major events such as Arraiá Baixio and the Baixio Festival.
Implementation of OdontoSesc.
2025
Partnership established with CESOL – the Solidarity Economy Center of the State Government – to support pricing, visual identity, and commercialization of community enterprises.
Implementation of a Craft Workshop with the Bahia Handicraft Program aimed at traditional communities using piaçava fibers, reviving traditions and introducing new techniques for 25 craftswomen.
Organization of events such as Children’s Day, Christmas, Black Beauty, and Capoeira Baptism.
Delivery of courses and workshops offering 295 places through the DLIS Network in areas such as handicrafts, gastronomy, tourism, entrepreneurship, beauty and aesthetics, and media.
